EdTech Professional Development
This project was created for my EDUC 641 class on Learning Theories. This learning module was developed for a professional development day as a group learning module. It has a variety of tools, videos, and how-to instructions and can be used individually or for an entire group.
This item was designed with the constructivist theory in mind. Learners will participate in the creation of a tech tool in a small group and will learn hands on. Topics will be chosen by the group to be relevant to their profession/subject area. This should help increase engagement.
Graduate Objective:
2. Create conditions for learning by applying theories (eg. learning theories, curriculum theory and communications theories) to authentic scenarios involving diverse populations.
AECT Standard 1 (Content Knowledge): Candidates demonstrate the knowledge necessary to create, use, assess, and manage theoretical and practical applications of educational technologies and processes.
AECT Standard 4 (Professional Knowledge and Skills): Candidates design, develop, implement, and evaluate technology-rich learning environments within a supportive community of practice.
